One of the most important things in my life is my faith, and my family. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and that without Him, there is no possible way for us to return to live with God, our Heavenly Father. I also know that through Christ's Atonement, we can live together with our families for all eternity, if we are worthy. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches this and many other saving doctrines. I am a member of this world religion, a Christian religion, and it truly brings me much joy and satisfaction. I promise you that you will find real happiness for yourself and your your family if you seriously study the teachings of this Church, especially the truths found in the Book of Mormon, Another Witness of Jesus Christ.
I had the privilege to spend two wonderful years of my life teaching the truths of the Gospel that I know to the people of Russia. I served in the "Russia Moscow South Mission" of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are eight such missions in Russia today headquartered in: St. Petersburg, Moscow North, Moscow South, Samara, Rostov Na Donu, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Vladivostok. There are many relief efforts going on throughout the world. Unfortunately, much of that relief money ends up lining the pockets of corrupt officials. If it gets close to the people it was meant for, it ends up paying for booze of delinquent fathers. (Unfortunately, this is especially true in Russia) The greatest thing I could give them was the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was fortunate enough to see it bless many lives while I was there. Such an experience does not rest lightly in my mind. Hardly a day goes by that I am not reminded of the time I spent there. I am glad to be home, for sure, but a part of me longs to return to the people I grew to love there.
